Wailana Coffee House is a convenient place to eat breakfast if you are staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, the Ilikai or a nearby condo and can walk there. It is a much cheaper alternative to the restaurants at the hotels with cheap kids meals and an extensive menu. However, it is very popular and if you arrive after 9 am for breakfast there is often a long line outside. We got pancakes, french toast, toast and eggs and enjoyed our food. We thought the food was decent but nothing special and the kids meals at $2.50 were cheap. The portions are kind of small though. They also serve lunch and dinner but I wouldn’t recommend it–breakfast was much better.
