WHAT TO DO AND

WHERE TO GO WITH YOUR CHILDREN IN OAHU, HAWAII

International Marketplace

2330 Kalakaua Ave., Waikiki

(808) 971-2080

The stores are open daily from 10:30 am-10:30 pm.

The International Marketplace is an open-air shopping, entertainment and dining hub right in the heart of Waikiki and within walking distance of many hotels and condo properties. It is a fun destination for families to browse among the kiosks and shops of local merchants who are often selling handmade merchandise. Low-priced souvenirs are an easy find.

For food, there is a large food court with cuisine from Mexico, Hawaii, Thailand and more and of course deserts such as Hawaii-made ice cream.

The Marketplace offers free live entertainment 5 nights every week. This includes hula dancing, live music, and a Polynesian revue.

OahuwithKids.com recommends trying delicious shave ice, looking for matching Hawaiian outfits for your whole family, and taking a picture next to the waterfall under the old Banyan tree.
